Asbestos Consultant

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Staff Asbestos Consultant to join our growing team. This opportunity includes the ability to expand your technical capabilities within the support of an established environmental consulting company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Asbestos related projects from testing, inspecting, monitoring.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
• Communicate with subcontractors, regulatory agents, tenants, and clients during field activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS Environmental or Science related field.
• 3-5 years experience range with experience in the following: Asbestos Inspections, Air Monitoring, Project Monitoring.
• Driver’s license required.
• Asbestos experience (required NYS Asbestos Inspector, preferred NYC Asbestos Investigator).
• Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
• Detail-oriented with technical aptitude and hands-on trouble-shooting/problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
