Air Sampling Technician – Full Time
We are seeking an entry level recent college graduate to join our growing team. This opportunity includes the ability to become a licensed air sampling technician within the support of an established environmental consulting and testing company.
Under supervision of senior project management staff, this individual will monitor the effectiveness of asbestos abatement activities through the use of direct sampling pumps for submission to our laboratory for analysis. In addition to the full time opportunity this position affords, extensive overtime will be available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collect air samples during asbestos abatement projects
• Prepare and maintain chain of custody data for submission to our laboratory
• Gain experience to become further trained as an asbestos inspector, project manager and industrial hygienist.
REQUIREMENTS:
• B.A. or B.S. in Science, Humanities or Technology
• EXCEPTIONAL attention to detail skills.
• Microsoft Office proficient, Mac platform preferred and a plus.
• Must have own, reliable vehicle. All fuel expenses will be reimbursed.
